PlayStation 5 has been revealed

The long-awaited reveal of the Playstation 5 has finally happened, with fans officially getting a look at what Sony’s next-generation console will look like. It is not known when the Playstation 5 will launch but that it will release during this holiday season, along with no release date there is currently no word on what the price of the system will be but fans will not have to wait until the last minute as Sony has stated they have plans for future events where even more information will be revealed. The Playstation 5 will launch sometime this holiday season.

Miles Morales makes his debut on Playstation 5

The first Playstation 5 game shown during the live stream was a brand new Spider-Man game but players won’t be swinging around as Peter Parker like in the first game instead it’ll be Miles Morales. Marvel’s Spider-man: Miles Morales has players taking control of Miles as he begins his journey to becoming his own hero. The game will be set during winter with Miles sporting his traditional red and black suit from the comics. So far no story details have been revealed about the game but it seems that New York is under some unknown threat and Peter isn’t able to assist meaning this will be the chance Miles needs to prove himself. The trailer begins with Miles slowly losing his suit from some kind of electrical attack with Peter telling him that “A hero is just someone who doesn’t give up, your dad said that. He was right, now it’s your turn go be a hero Miles”. At the end of Marvel’s Spider-man, which released back in 2018, it was shown that Miles received superpowers after being bitten by an Oscorp spider during the main campaign. During the City that Never Sleeps DLC which took place over 3 separate level packs it was shown that Peter was training Miles but no word on how much time has passed since. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will release on Playstation 5 sometime this holiday.

The trailer ends with a female Lombax being shown meaning that they could explore a world where the species wasn’t forced to extinction. Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart currently has no release date, but it will launch on Playstation 5.
