Persona 5 Strikers arrives in the West next year

Atlus has officially confirmed that Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is coming to the west next year. Dubbed Persona 5 Strikers for the west the game is set 6 months after the events of the original Persona 5 with new strange occurrences happening all over Japan which cause the Phantom Thieves to make their return. The game is developed by Omega Force and plays just like a Dynasty Warriors game by Koei Tecmo with Hack and Slash gameplay instead of turn-based like Persona 5. Originally released in Japan in February 2020 the game is slated to come out on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch but the new trailer confirms that a Steam release will also be happening. The game is receiving both a digital deluxe edition as well as steel book edition. Currently, the steelbook is exclusive to Best Buy and only for Nintendo Switch, but that may change. The digital deluxe edition of the game will release four days earlier on February 19th and in game content such as the Persona Legacy background music and the All Out Attack Pack. All digital games at launch will receive digital bonus content like a digital soundtrack, digital art book and behind-the-scenes videos. Persona 5 Strikers releases in the west on February 23rd for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch with a worldwide PC release on the same date.
