Hello everyone, this is Senpavo writing and welcome to my article series, News with Senpavo! Tune in every Sunday for more news. Read last week’s news here.
Lots of good news await us this week! A lot of updates regarding games, new releases and whatnot!
Inside Xbox Roundup
So, we are starting this weeks news with some Xbox news, and we have plenty! Please, take a look.
Xbox One S All-Digital Edition
The newest addition to the Xbox family is the Xbox one S All-Digital Edition. It will be released on the 7th of May of this year. It will cost $250. With this edition, all games will be digital only as the console won’t have the optical reader. It will also come with 3 games pre-installed: Minecraft, Sea of Thieves and Forza Horizon 3.
Backward Compatibility
Tons of games are coming with Xbox Backwards compatibility and Xbox One X Enchanted! They are Ninja Gaiden II, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Double Agent, Splinter Cell Conviction, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Fable II and Fable III.
Gears of War esports series
Gears of War is getting a TV series about the players that take part in its esports tournaments. It will be available at TBS
Some more gaming news
Rage 2 received an exclusive gameplay reveal, and it will be enchanted for the Xbox One X, as it runs at 60FPS on the system.
Warhammer Chaosbane is getting another beta soon for those who preordered the game. It will launch on the 4th of June.
State of Decay 2 has been purchased over 5 million times!
Sea of Thieves is getting an anniversary update this month, on the 30th. It will add fishing, cooking but, most importantly, single-player stories.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is launching this November with Xbox One X enhancements
More news on Project xCloud will be revealed for this year’s E3. Phil Spencer mentioned that he has been playing Destiny 2 on the streaming service.

Smash 3.0 is here, along with Joker!
With a surprise announcement, Nintendo revealed the 3.0 update for Super Smash Bros, alongside the first DLC character, Joker!
The update includes the already leaked Stage Builder that can be shared in-game, Video Editing, and support for Smash World, that can be found in the Nintendo Switch Online app.
But that’s not it! Joker from Persona 5 has finally arrived, and he’s ready to battle! For more details, you can watch the trailer below:
A new Metal Slug? TWO Neo Geos?
That’s right! SNK Corporation has revealed that they are working on a new chapter for the Metal Slug franchise for consoles. It was also confirmed that they are working on two new devices, the Neo Geo 2 and the Neo Geo 3. Lastly, SNK announced that SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy has sold 300.000 units globally.
More content for Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes!
Suda51 announced that the second DLC for Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes will be released on the 18th of April! Its name is Bubblegum Fatale, it will add a new stage, Killer Marathon and by completing it players will unluck Bad Girl, Badman’s daughter.
Along with the DLC, new t-shirts from various franchises will be added to the game! Those are:

And, talking about Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Capcom has announced that they will be collaborating with Grasshopper Manufacture to add Travis as a pawn in their upcoming game! The pawn will yield a blazing sword and will be available exclusively to Nintendo Switch users from the 25th of April to the 8th of July. The game will release on the 23rd of this month.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 has a release date!
The Nintendo Switch Marvel exclusive, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order finally has a release date! Nintendo revealed on Twitter that the game will launch on the 19th of July. They also revealed the box art, revealing new characters, such as Spider-Gwen and Miles Morales.

Castlevania Anniversary Collection full announcement!
Konami revealed that Castlevania Anniversary Collection will release on the 16th of May (My birthday!). The full collection of games is: Castlevania, Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest, Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, Super Castlevania IV, Castlevania The Adventure, Castlevania II: Belmont’s Revenge, Castlevania Bloodlines and Kid Dracula
The collection will release on all major consoles and will include an e-book with an interview with Adi Shankar, the producer of the TV series.
XIII Remake incoming!
Microids and PlayMagic announced that XIII is getting a Remake on the 13th of November. The cel-shaded FPS is coming back after 16 long years.
The story follows Steve Rowland, a soldier, which awakens on a beach, suffering from amnesia and with a tattoo with the Roman number XIII (thirteen). He must recover his lost memories.
